it's now been established that this site serves no purpose, and is poorly designed. all those pop down menus on the top don't work with most browsers, so half the people that visit think this site is even more uselesss than it is if that's possible. oh well. i don't care really. and you know what's funny? after years of being ignored on several other star wars sites that will remain nameless, a gallery of some rather mediocre pictures i took ended up on one of those sites. here's the gallery. as of writing this there's been almost 3,000 visitors in a little over a week. i'll apologize to my friend brian right now for the extra load on his server. maybe it's time i actually learned how to implement that gallery script on my own site...

so i kind of abandoned this site for a while there. i guess i didn't have much to say, or maybe i knew that there was no audience to read my thoughts... anyway, not much going on. went to midnight madness the other day even though i swore i would never do something like that again. it was pretty cool, got a couple of cool figures, witnessed a couple of people act a little too crazy just to get some toys. all in all, it was entertaining. how about that $30 piece of cardboard at walmart? good stuff huh?

oh, and i'm going on record now: i actually think ep III will be decent. yup i said it. phantom anus and clones sucked big time, but this one has some potential. and i wouldn't say that unless i had already read half the book, graphic novel, and listened to almost the entire audio novel. it'll still have the typical terrible writing in the padme/anakin parts, but overall there's some really dark stuff going on that we needed in this trilogy. no more of that happy horseshit with jar jar and doodie jokes. we'll see in a few weeks i guess...

um... spiderman 2 was cool. riddick was ok i guess. the star wars dvds will be up to our low expectations. it gets damn hot in vegas in the summer. lighting fireworks was fun, it's been years. work is crazy, been doing lots of overtime on hard rock. some bonehead backed into my car the other day at a red light, $1000+ mistake for him. i get a nice and shiny new bumper out of it. i think that's it, nothing exciting. ciao!

i'm broke and i'm miserable. how is it that i have less money now that i did during those 5 months when i was unemployed? no idea. i still can't figure it out. sure i have around $500 a month in additional bills, but still... i need a get rich quick scheme. i want my credit cards paid off. then my school loans. is that so much to ask? does anyone want to donate a quick $25k or so? or does anyone out there know the winning numbers to the next big lottery? i don't even need to win the whole thing, if i could get that 25k i'd be happy. isn't there a rich person out there somewhere that has a few extra bucks to share?

so that's the first thing. the second thing is that i finally met someone amazing, and i'm not near her. i got to spend 12 wonderful days with her over christmas/new years, but it wasn't long enough. i need more! yea i'm getting all mushy. well screw you. :) that'll be changed soon. a lot sooner than me getting my stuff paid off though, you'll see.

ok, because i know that all my readers are checking back here every 15 minutes for an update on this story, here are the pics. the first one shows the large christmas display to the right, and the tiny jew display on the left in the dirt. the christmas stuff is kind of roped off with a "coming soon" sign in front of it, all prepped for a santa to come in there, etc. but that display is totally accessible from the walkway. notice that the jew stuff is on the other side of the railing. the second picture will show you how well someone walking by can see the jew stuff behind a few tables and the railing. pretty funny huh? pic 1, pic 2

in case you don't know me, some people say i bitch sometimes about things. yes, i know you're shocked right now, considering everything you read on this site is cheery fun happiness that i spew from every orifice, but it's true. and the christmas season is no exception. there's nothing i hate more than going into a store a week before thanksgiving and being subjected to bullshit christmas songs. it really has nothing to do with me being jewish, cause we all know i'm not that religious. in fact, i would hate this season if i was a hardcore catholic. actually, i would probably hate my parents too for sending me to CCD class at age 8 and being forced to take it in the ass... oh, sorry. anyway. yea. i hate the commercialism of this time of year. i hate the music. i hate that everyone needs a reason to be cheery. what, you can't wish good times on people the other 11 months of the fucking year? what really made me happy today was when i took a walk over to the mall by my office to hit the wonderful food court for lunch and stumbled upon their jewish display. now let me tell you about the christmas display first: there's a bunch of trees, all decorated and shit, surrounded by all sorts of fake, shiny wrapped presents, lights, ornaments, blah blah. this is all in this great big area that's probably larger than the big elevator it's near. and tucked way off to the side of this thing, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RAILING OVERLOOKING THE FLOOR BELOW, is this dinky menorah with a few presents wrapped in blue and white. on the other side of the fucking railing! like, you can't even see it! this shit is stuck in the dirt where some flowers should be planted to decorate the OTHER SIDE OF THE RAILING. it's crazy. i need to take a picture of this so you can all share in the absurdity of it. i don't know what else to say about it, words cannot describe how funny and sad this is at the same time. i'll try to take a picture during lunch tomorrow...

on a side note, and to kind of contradict myself, i saw bad santa and thought it was fucking hilarious. see it.

i think i've just set a new record for myself. this is the longest i've worked on my site at once in a very long time. i've been sitting here all day going through stacks of old cds, folders, zip disks trying to dig up the right photos for my portfolio. i've spent hours converting all the pages over to the slightly new one, fixing all bugs, etc. if anyone comes across a dead link or any problems please let me know. the only problem i'm having right now is that i can't get into the control center for my forum to change it to the newer layout. i could create a new one, but i don't want to lose all the posts on there just yet, and i don't feel like changing the link to the new one on all the pages right now. so just suck it up and remember not to use too many of the links on the nav in the forum page for now...

as promised, my slight re-design has begun. bare with me while i change everything over, i'm sure half of my links won't work for the next few days as i figure out what i screwed up in the process. also, i'm too lazy to log into my discussion app for the moment, so that page will still look a little different. in the meantime, let me know if those drop down menus don't work for you... the idea behind this slight re-design is to freshen up the look a tiny bit(not much really), but also to trim out some of my useless content that i had on here. when i created this site back in 1997 it was all star wars content. but now that i'm not a nerd(who am i kidding?), and star wars was ruined by it's creator, i have little need for most of my old content. the rants section is going to remain though, because it really portrays my hatred towards many things.

and i think i may have spoke too soon about that job. looks like they're still leading me on. why should i be surprised? it's only been 4 months of interviewing with them now. oh well. it gives me more time to do very little with this site.

money is finally coming my way! i didn't land the job i was going for, but instead got one that's way better! i'm going to be covering 4 different california offices, so i get to travel to san fran and a few other places. that also means i can afford a new car to park in my reserved parking spot that i finally got after a 2 month wait. not sure exactly when i'm starting, but that means i can't be the beach bum i've been for the past 4 months any more. oh well. my tan doesn't need to get much darker than it is right now. and i'd rather get on with my life again, the last few months have been useless for me, other than discovering all sorts of new stuff in LA

still working on that re-design. i'm deciding what content i want to remove, etc. almost there, it's tough to design my own site, i'm too picky. it's much easier doing them for other people...

can anything worse happen? now my damn car is broken. i mean done. the frame broke last weekend when i was driving to the beach. so that's the end of me being mobile in this town until some miracle happens, like me landing a job, or coming across a few thousand dollars... some place offered me $100 for my car. how sad is that, my bike is worth more than my car!

at least i've had a whole mess of visitors come the last few weeks. i think i've had straight visitors for 4 weeks now, 8 visitors total. it's been fun, and luckily didn't cost me much money. and no offense to my brother and some of my friends, but the girls visiting were way cooler!

also, i'm in the process of giving my site a small redesign. i'm probably going to pull some content, specifically the star wars crap, because it's just not interesting any more to me or the rest of the world since george ruined it all. but this will be a slow process. none of you should be surprised with the way i update this thing...

how many people do you know of that saw both the short lived guns n roses tour and slash's new band perform live? yes that's right, i'm that cool. i saw axl with his new gn'r cover band in boston in november at the fleet center, one of only a few shows before he bitched out for some unknown reason. and last week i went to a taping of the jimmy kimmel show, slash was the guest host for the hour, and he played with duff and matt from the original and 2nd wave respectively, with b real and sen dog from cypress hill. they did rock and roll superstar and paradise city. and i was there right up front! fuk'n sweet! i will definitely say that slash rocks still! i would be willing to bet that there probably isn't many people to see both of these shows...

and that's today's reason why i'm so cool. i won't go into mentioning the fact that i'm REALLY broke, bill collectors are calling me daily, and my car finally died for good. who said you need a car in la? everyone!

does someone want to tell me what the hell is going on? for some reason my site and email have been down since wed night. isn't that really convenient? let me just say it has screwed up MANY things for myself and a few others that are connected to my site. thanks liquid web! i called them on thurs morn, and they had me update something on my dns server. but as of today it still wasn't working, so i called back. the guy asked me what kind of account i had, he mysteriously hit some buttons in the background and told me it should be working again in a few minutes. he then ended our conversation with no explanation as to what he just did. but sure enough, my site is working again. how's that for sketchy? hopefully my millions of readers weren't scared that my site was gone! hahahaha...

3 hours of sleep and 2 viewings later... i think i really like this movie still. it was better the second time. the characters and dialogue are slightly more tolerable for some reason. i'll post my full review by sat morning, i promise! i was let down by tonight's crowd. it seems that the real fans, the exciting fans, probably the fans i hate online, were the fans attending the movie wed night at 12. tonight's 'opening night' fans were tame. check out this clip from wed night, as opposed to this clip from thurs night. not the same energy. there isn't much to the picture, but the sound tells all. both were shot in the same theater 9 at framingham 16 at different times. pics coming with the review.

i'm starting to get real pissed off, and it's not cause i went to bed at 7am this morning after a serious bender at a rave... this weekend gross bullshit for spiderman is getting on my nerves. once again, a movie has broken records for an opening weekend. well of course it's going to, movie tickets went up another .50 since the last big movie came out. are people too stupid to realize that inflation happens? if you adjust for inflation, i think gone with the wind is still the highest grossing movie of all time, but i may be wrong. does it not make sense to you idiots? in 1977 when star wars came out it made almost 400 mil or something, and tickets were like $2. if phantom only managed to make a bit more than that with tickets at $8, isn't something wrong? figure it out people, these numbers don't mean SHIT any more!

so, apparently all the tools already have the soundtrack. silly me. i thought i was being nice in posting the soundtrack the other day. turns out it's been done and out there for quite some time. so, if anyone from lucasfilm is reading this... i know of some great sites that have the whole soundtrack still posted illegally!! all you have to do, if you can bare a couple minutes of painful agony worse than reading this site, is go through a couple of threads on theforce.net forums. all sorts of goodies. and losers...

well, not really. but i do have most of the soundtrack already. how did i get it? it's pretty easy if you try. i do have one request though in return, could you people please sample mp3's at a freakin bit rate higher than 63 or 112?

some of it isn't bad. i don't really like the love theme too much, and yes, it is the real one unlike the fake lost world version that fooled everyone at theforce.net forums recently(see the news for feb 16 below). the dooku theme is pretty cool. i like the soprano voice singing in the background, followed by the imperial march finally. there's one track, the arena i think, that sounds way too much like the march from TPM, i don't really like that. the track at the tusken camp is kind of eerie, hints of the imperial march come in, possibly where his mother dies or something? this still doesn't tell me whether this movie will suck or not...

i had a link to them all posted, but none of you appreciated it. i thought it would be cool to share some, but i'm already getting hate mail for posting them? go figure... i can't win with you fuckin tools...

so, new trailer tonight. well god damn. looks like we might have an ok movie. that is, minus the cg yoda, a couple of anakin's poorly delivered lines, cg yoda, obi wan repeatedly bitching about flying, and i guess, cg yoda. talk about a fuck up. but what can we expect from george? once again his technology screws up everything. if i were frank oz i would sue lucasfilm for just being dumb. can't wait to see a horrible cg yoda jumping around in the fight at the end of the movie, it will be like watching the phantom menace all over again: "what the hell were they thinking?!"

DICK. and yes Mavrick889, i am bitter. i sent this clone wars article to TFN 3 times in the past 3 years and they never posted it. it took some other dick ripping me off to get it on there.

it seems that one or two of the tracks recorded for the episode 2 soundtrack were leaked out over the internet last night. or were they? in the forums over at nerd central theforce.net some loser posted what was supposedly a clip of the "love theme" from the new movie. the geeks went wild, 23 pages of postings currently to be exact. each one of them freaking out because the latest link to the clip is dead, or they can't believe they're hearing something so soon. well guess what?! it's a fake. turns out some other nerd did some research and found out it's a bastardized version of some clip from jurassic park 2. good job folks.

Well Well boys and girls, Hutts and Jawas the third trailer was released around 12:00 am EST today. And if that wasn't enough I have another surprise for you!

My friend Tim and I stayed up all night to bring you a FOURTH fabulous trailer!!!! That's right! Could today get any better!?!? AND IT'S NOT EVEN CHRISTMAS YET!

What we did was take the footage from all three trailers and arrange the shots in chronological order. Now we used about 95% of the trailer footage, and almost everything is in order (we took a little dramatic license with a few of the shots).

Now unfortunately we could not host the trailer on this site, in fact the trailer is so big that even big guys like Aldera and Tbone wouldn't want to foot the bill for the band with costs. So what I did is put the trailer in a few formats up on the Kazaa / Morpheus net work. All you have to do is down load and install one of these programs and do a search for Episode II CHRONOLOGY . Then you can start downloading. All I ask is that you keep the trailer shared for at least a full day after you dl it.

See even us Starwaz Haterz can geek out and give something positive back to the community.

Today the teaser trailer was released online, and I must say it has given me some hope. I had already seen it in front of Monsters Inc. but it is defiantly nice to get a chance see it a few times back to back. I think this trailer has even given Erik a little glimmer of hope. Lets hope Lucas doesn't bash it against the wall and jump up and down on it.

I do how ever have one complaint, What the FUCK is Lucas doing making us down load Quick Time Pro to watch the large trailer. Why should we have to pay 30 bucks for a program that is useless for most of the population. I almost put my boot through the screen!!!!!!

But never fear I am here to help. Now I wont share the movie on this site, but I will tell ya how to get it. Download the file sharing program Morpheus or Kazaa and do a search for ep2 breathing and you shall find the large (640) version of the trailer, and you wont need any dumbass quick time pro to play it. It's been a week after dragon.com and Erik made it home ok and I had to go to Philly for a wedding. We both were preparing some new content that we planed to launch this week. Then today happened.

04/12/97-Saw pictures of A-wing boxed, Dengar(I hate him) and the rest of the beast assortment today. I won't get the new assortment for another week because the shipment got shipped to the wrong store. My buddy Ryan at work will get them for me as soon as possible. 03/30/97-Well folks, I'm back. If I'm motivated and have enough time, I'll be adding all sorts of stuff very frequently. I got 4 out of 5 figures out of the Bossk assortment this past week. I couldn't find luke hoth at the time. I finally found him, but I wasn't about to pay 6.99 for him. I'll just wait and get him at Wal-Mart or Toys R Us when they get shipped. Actually they have gotten shipped, it's just that I have to work at the worst Toys possible to get stuff. My store is a AA volume store(believe me, that's good) and we get suff later than Blockbuster!!! They already got the figures, but my store is still waiting. Oh well. I also got my ghost of Obi-Wan in the mail. It's very cool, except for the fact that the arms don't move. What's up with that? The pepsi posters also finally came in. They're the same as on the box, but they're still neat. Keep coming back for more fun updates!!!

03/13/97-I heard the Jedi soundtrack today. It SUCKS. That's all I have to say. The new songs from Jabba's palace are very lame and so is the new song at the end in place of that "Yub Yub" song. And I thought the ewoks singing it was bad. A whole bunch of (what sounds like kids) going "yeah, yeah, yeah" over and over again. Oh well. At least we'll be able to check out some very cool cgi clips of the celebrations during that time. My girlfriend is going to see it tonight. If she gets back soon enough I'll add some comments and stuff from her. Who knows, maybe she'll be able to tell us about a sneak preview for the PREQUELS!!!
